Do you care about the planet? Do you want to do something great for the environment and also have a chance at a really cool prize? You could become a VIP blogger at the largest sustainability gathering in the history of the Middle East!
Leading up to Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, January 13-17, 2013, Masdar is sponsoring a blogging contest where the winner is invited to Abu Dhabi with a special position as VIP media to cover the exciting events of the week.
The blogging contest, “Engage: The Water-Energy Nexus” is simpler than you might think to enter. All you have to do is write a really great blog post! Your contest blog entry should answer this question:
What steps can individuals, businesses or world leaders take to address the most pressing and often interrelated water and energy challenges?
You can then post the link to your story in the “leave a message” field on the site. The deadline is December 31, 2012 – don’t hesitate or you might miss out on a great chance to make a difference and to be a special VIP media guest. Once published, your friends and family can vote for your post. Share it on Facebook and Twitter and show the power of social connections for greater good. The more your post is voted for, liked and shared, the higher score it will receive from the judging panel. Voting will officially close on January 3, 2013.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week will feature around 30,000 people from 150 countries to make up the panels, events and more that encase the week’s activities. You could be right there, live on the scene, tweeting and live-blogging about it all while it happens.
The winning content will also be featured at www.masdar.ae as well as its partners.
