Hilti Inc., a Canada-based manufacturer and supplier of specialized tools and fastening systems, has introduced the MSP-AL Solar Park Mounting System for ground-mounted, fixed photovoltaic installations.

The company says the lightweight system, which consists of only six corrosive-resistant aluminum components, can accommodate most solar panel types in any array and all common footing and foundation types, such as ramming profiles, concrete foundations and earth screws. The system is designed to be built on-site, eliminating pre-assembly and reducing overall labor and transportation costs.

Hilti says its technical experts collaborate with solar project developers from the design phase through construction, including on-site training and project support. The company says it also offers high-performance cordless tools (positioning systems for layout; hammer drills and anchors for mounting to concrete bases; and cordless screwdrivers and impact tools for assembly) to aid in the installations.
